Skills Through Play now available in your home

Our Skills Through Play programme caters for families with children aged between 2 and 6 years old, who wish to teach their children skills through play. The play environment provides opportunities for practicing skills like language and socialisation. Being able to play with other children in a meaningful way increases a child’s happiness, but it also teaches them important lessons about the world and how to get along with people as well as help abstract cognitive skills.

To meet the specific needs of each family, our Family Consultant Arletta van den Bosch is currently running the sessions in the home environment, by appointment.

To find out more or to book an introductory session, please contact Arletta at arletta@autism.org.nz

Help us by donating today! All donations go directly to making a difference for the families we support.
