Carolyn Lotawa from EverydayOT is running two “Adventure Day Camps” to help children on the Autistic Spectrum, children with Dyspraxia and DCD and other learning differences prepare for EOTC days and school camp. This is for children who are mainstream at school.
As you know, these children can find changes in routine, new and unfamiliar activities and physical challenges difficult. Practising beforehand with people who can grade tasks and create a learning space that accounts for extra time needed can help these children prepare for what they may face at school. The program is for children aged 9 years and over.
