Flip n Fly Circus School

Flip n Fly Circus School

Flip n Fly Circus School are opening their studio to children with autism!
They welcome children from aged 8-12 to enrol in a free weekly 1-hour circus class on Tuesday mornings at 10.30 am, starting in term 3, 2020.  The ideal class size will be between 5 and 10 students.  Parents/caregivers are welcome to attend (and join in if desired).
Best of all the classes are offered free of charge.

Circus is a fun, inclusive and challenging activity for all children.  The benefits of kid’s circus classes include: improved self-confidence and hand-eye coordination as well as increased flexibility and strength. Students also build essential life-long essential skills including self-confidence, teamwork, and trust.

The program offered by Flip N Fly will:

  • Offer autistic children aged between 8 and 12 years the ability to develop strength, flexibility and self-confidence.
  • Encourage children with autism to try new things and challenge themselves in a safe, caring environment.

Each session will include time for students to settle into the space, warm up activities, aerial skills, ground based activities and a cool down.
