Autism New Zealand has a dedicated education team that delivers education and training nationwide.
Autism NZ has developed a number of externally evaluated, New Zealand based education programmes.
See below for publicly available community programmes for autistic people, parents/family/whānau, and professionals. The Autism NZ education team can develop and deliver individually tailored programmes to address the needs of a variety of groups working with different age groups.
Programmes are delivered by highly skilled facilitators who are professionals working in the field of autism or parents who have lived experience, with consultation from autistic adults.
Our family support service has now integrated with Autism NZ.
The Autism New Zealand Outreach Service is available across the country with Outreach Coordinators offering a range of support services from 16 branches nationwide. The Autism NZ Outreach Service provides support, information, and education on autism. This includes linking you to the right support services in your local region. The Outreach Service is free and available for autistic people, parents/family/whānau, and their support networks – including educators and professionals.
