We are here to help with practical hands-on family support: from our popular Outreach service to our in-home support Skills Through Play.
Family Support
This is our holistic ‘hands on’ outreach service, led by the family’s priorities and values with guidance from a trained and experienced staff member.
Families can access this service when their child has been recently diagnosed with ASD, but is also available during those difficult transition periods.
Intensity of a family’s involvement depends on their specific needs, such as regular home visits, phone calls, as well as providing guidance in implementing strategies and concepts learned at workshops.
Skills through Play (2 to 6 years old)
The play environment provides opportunities for practicing skills like language and socialisation. Being able to play teaches children important lessons about the world and how to get along with people as well as helps abstract cognitive skills.
The sessions are run from your home to cater for your child’s needs (2 to 6 years old).
